The final week of softball cricket in the Caribbean Alliance Insurance ABSCA 30 Overs Championship is one that 6 teams will be closely monitoring. FDICIC Strictly Business (5-0-1) with a undefeated record in the Caribbean Alliance Insurance ABSCA 30 Overs Championship already book the top seed and a spot in the semi-finals will be going up against Bryson's Shipping & Insurance Bullets (3-2-1) at Powells who need either a win or a United Stars lost to secure one of the two remaining spot in the semi-finals. The Friends of Old Road has already booked the second semi-finals spot with a 4 -1 -1 record will come up against Sen. Dr. Errol Cort Rangers (1-4-1) at Johnson's, a namely promoted team to the first division have to win to have a chance to stay up in the first division.

 

Also Cool & Smooth Hatton Starz (1-4-1) will come up against Sen. Dr. Errol Cort Johnson's Shot Guns (1-4-1) at Grammar School with both teams needing a win to have a chance to stay up in the first division. A Hatton Starz win and a Rangers win will see Hatton Starz and Johnson's Shot Guns demotion to second division. A Shot Guns win and a Rangers win will see Hatton Starz Demotion and either team (Ranger or Shot Guns) with the best average will remain in the first division. A Hatton Starz win and a Rangers lost will see the two Sen. Dr. Errol Cort side demoted by to second division.

 

In the other division 1 game Asot Arcade Lion Hill (3-2-1)will come up against United Stars  (2-3-1) at All Saints, a United Stars win will secure them a spot in the semi-finals. A Lion Hill lost and a Bullets win will see Asot Arcade Lion Hill missing out on one of the two available semi-finals spots. But a Lion Hill lost and a Bullets lost will mean Lion Hill will secure the a fourth place finish and a semi-finals spot because they defeated Bullets in the preliminary round.

 

In the second division Heritage Sports Cracker Jack will battle Buckley's 3J's at Rising Sun for a spot in the finals while Finance & Devlopment Dredgers will come up against Empire Stars at Dredgers. 

 

So for all the Sports lovers come out to either All Saints, Powells, Grammar School or Johnson's and ensure one of these well anticipated Caribbean Alliance Insurance ABSCA 30 Overs Championship game this weekend in the first division. You can even stay at Dredgers and watch the keen contested second division semi-finals at Dredgers and Rising. All games starts at 10:00 am.
