The Antigua & Barbuda Softball Cricket Association Executive met on Tuesday 16th June 2009 at the Dredgers Club House.  The following are the major highlights:

        -    The Finals for the Caribbean Alliance Insurance 30 overs League will be played on Sunday June 21st 2009, on the Dredgers Play Field.  The Game is scheduled to bowl off at 10am sharpe.  Lion Hill and All Stars are set to battle for the premier prize of 2009.

The Harney Motors Five-A-Live Competition will be continued immediately after the Caribbean Alliance Insurance 30 overs Finals

The Bingo (EC$5 per ticket) will follow the Five-A-live Competition.  Jackpot    -    EC$2500 and four (4) consolation prizes of EC$250.00.  ALL CLUBS/TEAMS ARE ASKED TO TURN-IN THE SALES FROM THE BINGO TICKETS AND ALL UNSOLD BINGO TICKETS BY 1PM ON SUNDAY 21ST JUNE 2009.  FAILURE TO ACT ACCORDINGLY WILL RESULT IN YOUR TEAM/CLUB BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TICKETS DISTRIBUTED TO YOUR CLUB OR TEAM.

All Umpire Fees for the Caribbean Alliance Insurance League and the St John's Co-Operative Credit Union league will be paid on Sunday June 21st 2009 at approximately 4pm at the Dredgers Club House.

The Semi-Final spots for the Male 20/20 has been booked already with one (1) week of games left:  The Semi-finals will be played on Sunday 28th June 2009.  The games and venue and Umpires are as follows:

    Lion Hill vs Hatton Starz        Grammar School            Dave Jeffrey & Jefferson Jeremiah

    United Stars vs Old Road      Powells                          Allan Carr & Candice Butler

The 10 Overs Day/Night Festival will bowl off on June 30th 2009.  Registration has been extended till June 25th 2009.  Registration is EC$600.00 per team and the Grand Prize is EC$2500.00 for the champions and EC$1000.00 for the runner-up.  Lots more prizes and surprises will also be available.
